Let’s Talk Destination Weddings

Hey everyone, today we are talking about destination weddings and the style of dress that would suit a destination venue.

So first up is the lovely “Katya”, here we have a beautiful beaded bodice delicate straps, v neck and the softest floaty tulle skirt, perfect for an abroad wedding as she is so so light, which makes her extremely comfortable to wear plus she will travel well, which is important. The main attraction of “Katya “ though is her exquisite back, look how gorgeous those crystal spaghetti straps are, falling into a low illusion back, with buttons going down the back of the soft tulle train. Such a perfect dress for a beach wedding. I personally would put a long, single tier, soft tulle veil with this dress as when the wind catches you will get the most amazing photos. This gorgeous gown is available to order in Ivory, white and champagne.

As lovely as “Katya” is if you would prefer something a little more fitted, let’s take a look at the lovely “Giselle”. So here we have a fitted sweetheart neckline gown, the beadwork on this dress is absolutely exquisite, it really is quite special. So even though her neckline is quite plunging you have that sheer coverage which gives a tad of respectability. I love the scalloped edging on this dress, with the little pearls and crystals, so pretty. If we take a look at the back of “Giselle” we can see the scalloped edging goes all the way around the back. She has quite a low back, with covered buttons and a lovely soft tulle floaty skirt.

I would say that “Giselle” is slightly heavier than “Katya” purely because of all the beadwork, which you have to admit is rather special. So here we have the colour vintage but she is available to order in Ivory and white. Again as with “Katya” I would put a soft floaty veil, full length, because when it catches the breeze you are going to get the most amazing pictures. What I think you also need to think about is that if you are having a reception for family and friends back in the UK you need a dress that is wow for both venues and I think “Katya” and “Giselle” tick all the boxes. I also feel that “Katya” has quite a boho vibe which would make her perfect for that type of wedding.

As I have mentioned previously, both these dresses will travel well, as you don’t want your dress creased and not looking its best when you arrive at your hotel.

So if either of these fab dresses tick all the boxes for you, please do get in touch to book your appointment to try them on.
